It is one of our most popular recipes, but it may have been defeated by a new contender to the Keto Southern Fried Chicken throne!

This recipe was created by Redditor u/jvidican92, who has kindly allowed us to publish it here. As you can see from the photo, these keto chicken tenders look incredibly like the real thing! But the similarity doesn’t end there! They taste absolutely amazing, and have a crunch to match!

Keto Southern Fried Chicken

Our Original Almond Flour Keto Southern Fried Chicken Tenders could be a bit inconsistent with the coating. They are coated in almond flour and baked in the oven. Bake them for too short a time and they can be soggy, bake for too long and they can be burned and dried out. This made it tricky for them to become a true keto KFC replacement.  However, this isn’t an issue anymore.

Firstly, this recipe uses flavorless protein powder as a coating instead of almond flour. This allows you to fry the chicken instead of baking, as the protein powder gores crispy in the oil, where almond flour just absorbs the oil and goes soggy.

These keto tenders, however, are crispy, crunchy and full of flavor. If you are looking for a keto KFC fix, you have come to the right place!

The Best Keto Burnt Ends Recipe

Oh, the joys of being on a keto diet. No, that was not sarcastic! Because being on a keto diet means you can enjoy the best keto burnt ends recipe in the entire world. Sounds delicious, right? Well, cry with happiness now, because it’s not expensive to make either!

The idea for this recipe came when I smoked a brisket on Saturday for my Girlfriend’s Birthday party. To prepare the meat, I started off by rubbing it down with Jake’s Grillin’ Beef Rub, which is a dry rub. The main ingredient is actually coffee, which gives the meat a beautiful caramelized texture every I use it. I then injected it with some beef stock and seasoning to give it extra flavor and ensure that it didn’t dry out too much.

Now onto the cooking! I smoked it at 225 till 165f then pulled it out and wrapped the flat, before cutting up the point for the burnt ends. Once I’d managed to chop it into cubes, I then placed it in a foil pan and mixed in 1/2 a cup of coke zero (trust me, it’s delicious!), 1/3 cup Walden Farms Zero Carb Honey BBQ (tasty!) and 1/3 cup Guys Sugar Free Spicy BBQ (yum!). Just to add, if you’re wanting to make this yourself, make sure you mix all these ingredients thoroughly. There’s nothing worse than missing out on all these goodies mixed together! When this is done, return the meat to the smoker and set it to 275. Keep it going until all the liquid is reduced and then you’re done! Delicious crispy chunks in hardly any time at all!

Unlike our other keto pancake recipes, this particular recipe includes some ingredients you may have never used before. Even though you may not have heard of them, it’s these ingredients that make this recipe out of this world, so do give them a chance. Keep on reading to learn more about how they work.

The first ingredient that has a strange name is Carbquick, which is just a low carbohydrate mix for baking with. It is very similar to Bisquick, but as it contains Carbalose, it has 90% fewer net carbs. There’s also Allulose in this recipe, which is just a type of sweetener. Feel free to use another type of sweetener if you’ve found one you particularly like.

The rest of the ingredients are simple. These include an egg, baking powder, heavy cream, avocado oil and coconut oil. Trust Us, It’s The Best!

Hey folks! Today we’re going to treat you to the best keto cheese chicken fritter recipe that you desperately need in your life. The reason this particular recipe is the best, is because of its texture. Usually fritters are soft and delicate (or chewy and leathery if you accidentally leave them in the pan for too long … it only happened once!) but this one is completely different. It’s got a crisp and crunchy exterior and because we refrigerate the overnight (or for at least 2 hours if you’re running out of time) it is full of flavors you don’t usually taste.

What we love to do with this recipe, is prepare it on a Sunday night and leave it in the fridge. Then after a long and tiring Monday, all you have to do is chuck it in the frying pan when you get home. Simple and delicious. It’s also a great recipe for feeding a large family. As long as you have a big frying pan, you can easily make the recipe with double the quantities and then split it into portions for sharing. Done!

Recipe Information

This recipe is full of scrumptious flavors. The first ingredient is chicken, which, let’s be honest, is pretty standard. Everyone knows the flavor of chicken and it’s not really that exciting. But when it’s mixed with the eggs and mozzarella cheese, it brings a whole new dining experience to the table. It suddenly tastes extra creamy and has a rich, satisfying flavor. The “secret” ingredient in this recipe, although it’s not particularly secret, is almond flour. This is what takes the fritter to new dimensions. These rolls have to best the ultimate crowd pleaser. Packed full of cheese, pancetta, and spinach, they are full of flavor and perfect for eating with your hands. The chewy dough mixed with mozzarella gives you a smilier taste experience to eating a pizza, but in one heavenly bite.

Now, there’s something we mentioned in the paragraph above, which I’m sure you’ve picked up on. This recipe is a keto recipe, meaning lowering the number of carbohydrates you consume whilst increasing the number of healthy fats, but we used the words dough. And dough usually contains grain flower. But this isnot ordinary dough. It’s magic keto dough, made out of simple ingredients such as mozzarella, cream cheese and egg. You can even add almond flour if you like and it will still be completely carbohydrate and gluten free. Result!

Once the dough is cooked, you can top it with anything you like! In this recipe, we’ve gone for gouda, pancetta, prosciutto, mushrooms and some baby spinach for added freshness. If you’re vegetarian, however, you can always pass on the meat and load the dough up with veggies instead. Just be careful not to add too many toppings, as the dough needs to be rolled in order to get the special “swirl” effect. Once ready, you can then chop the loaf into slices and serve those wonderful pieces of deliciousness.
