This recipe is literally as easy as heating up some noodles and tossing the rest of the ingredients into a pan until they’re cooked. This makes it the perfect dish for treating yourself to on a weeknight when it’s been a long day and all you really want to do is go to bed. If you triple the quantity of the ingredients, you can even serve this as a family dish.
The flavors in this meal are incredible. To start, use some plump, juicy shrimp and season them with Old Bay Seasoning for a truly sensational flavor. Then by adding cream cheese, which goes so well with the dash of lemon juice, and nacho seasoning (we like Stonemill Nacho Cheese Popcorn Seasoning), you can mix this into the plain noodles, which will beautifully absorb all of that tasty flavor. Simple!
For a dinner-time dish, this meal is incredibly low in calories. Each portion only contains 397 cals, which is perfect for anybody watching their weight or taking part in a calorie-controlled diet. For us keto-ers, it has a huge 17.9 grams of fat and only 4.7 grams of carbs. This even makes it perfect for anyone on a low carbohydrate diet, such as those following Atkins for example. Finally, it has a good 4.1 grams of fiber and contains a whopping 45.6 grams of protein! Now that makes it perfect for absolutely anybody!
So, it’s now time to put on your apron and start tossing that shrimp!
Prepare noodles first according to package directions.
Melt butter in non-stick skillet over medium heat. Season shrimp with Old Bay. Add shrimp to skillet and cook until they just begin to curl, then flip.
Immediately add the noodles, cream cheese and nacho cheese powder. Just as everything melts together, add the lemon juice.
Lastly, I added a bit of water then seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle a dash of parsley on top if that's your thing.
